I offer Skype and face to face therapy to individuals, couples, families, and organisations. The integrative techniques I use incorporate Person Centred, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Hypnotherapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming approach (NLP) Sandplay, Story Telling and Emotional Freedom ‘tapping’ techniques when working with both children and adults tailored according to the needs of the individual.
Therapy is open ended with regular reviews but can also be short term and focussed, it all depends on what you need. Sessions are 1 hour long and take place on a weekly basis in my therapy room based in South Birmingham, or nationally via phone and skype.
I can offer session’s onsite within organisations such as schools, colleges and offices that are able to provide a suitable space, by prior arrangement.
My specialism is in supporting individuals, couples and families; in particular foster carers, separated families, and public sector workers in stressful jobs such as teachers, social workers, nurses and other public facing professionals.
I also offer specialist therapy that takes into account sensitive faith based and cultural issues within diverse communities.

Skype and Telephone Counselling
Everyone struggles at some point in their life. If you need to talk about an emotional issue or you are feeling overwhelmed with negative thoughts, but feel more comfortable to discuss it from the comfort of your own home then telephone or Skype counselling can help. Therapy will support you to overcome your difficulties and gain new perspectives. This is a national service and anybody across the UK can access this support.

In order to make counselling services affordable and accessible to all I offer a free initial phone consultation for 20 minutes and operate a sliding scale in fees commencing from £35 for individuals and from £50 for couples per hour session. This can be discussed when we meet and your individual circumstances will be taken into account.

During the initial consultation we would have an informal discussion about your needs, and expectations and then decide if we felt comfortable to work together. We would discuss the likely length of therapy; if it is to be short or long term and plan 6 weekly reviews to discuss how things are progressing. Sessions take place at the same time and day weekly as agreed by us both. I will work collaboratively with you to help you achieve an improved state of health and well being.
